Water Meter Test and Calibration BenchFeatures
EN ISO 4064 and OIML R49 Compliant
Test system designed to determine water meter indication errors and for type evaluation and initial verification tests.
Gravimetric or Reference Flowmeter Measurement
Accurate and reliable volume measurement with a precision weighing system or traceable reference flowmeters.
DN15–DN40 Water Meters
Multi-meter test line for residential and commercial mechanical, ultrasonic and electronic water meters.
DN50 – DN∞ Large Meters
High-flow test line for Woltman (turbine), electromagnetic and ultrasonic large-diameter meters.
Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 Tests
Automatic indication error analysis at minimum, transitional, permanent and overload flow rates.
Automatic PLC Control
Programmable automatic test sequences with flow, pressure, pump and valve control.
Precision Reference Measurement System
Monitoring of temperature, pressure and flow with high-accuracy reference sensors.
Serial Multi-Meter Test Line
Several water meters are tested simultaneously on the same test line.
Optical and Electronic Meter Reading
Automatic data acquisition via camera, optical sensor, pulse output or communication interfaces.
Standing and Flying Start-Stop
Standing start-stop and diverter-based flying start-stop test methods, as required by the standard.
Automatic Indication Error Calculation
The meter reading is compared with the reference volume and the percentage error is calculated automatically.
Pass / Fail Against MPE
Automatic evaluation against the maximum permissible error of ±5 % in the lower zone and ±2 % in the upper zone (±3 % for water above 30 °C).
Flexible PC Software
Test recipes, flow points, meter data, result records and data management.
Automatic Reporting
Measurement results, error curves and conformity assessments are reported as PDF or Excel.
Pneumatic Clamping System
Pneumatic clamping for fast, leak-tight mounting of meters on the test line.
Stable Flow and Pressure
Stable flow throughout the test with a frequency-controlled pump and constant-head tank options.
Air Purging and Leak Check
Air is purged from the line before the test and a pre-test leak check is carried out under pressure.
Barcode / QR Meter Identification
Meter serial numbers are scanned and matched to the test records for traceability (optional).
Low Measurement Uncertainty
Precise testing with calibrated reference equipment and a traceable measurement infrastructure.
