Electronic Circuits

We design the measurement and communication boards used in our meters with our own R&D team and manage the whole process, from schematics and PCB layout to embedded software and series production.

KURASTECH Ultrasonic Meter Board

Ultrasonic Meter Board

Measurement board for ultrasonic water and heat meters working on the transit-time principle. A low-power measurement IC and microcontroller process the signals from the upstream and downstream transducers and pass instantaneous and total flow to the display and communication outputs.

  • ✓Transit-time measurement circuit
  • ✓Low-power design for long battery operation
  • ✓Transducer and LCD connections
  • ✓Communication module and optical port interface
KURASTECH Sigfox Communication Board

Sigfox Communication Board

Low-power wireless communication board that sends meter data over the Sigfox network in the 868 MHz (RC1) band. Readings and alarms are sent to the cloud at regular intervals, enabling wide-area remote reading without extra infrastructure.

  • ✓Sigfox RC1 · 868 MHz
  • ✓Internal PCB antenna or external antenna option
  • ✓Index reading and alarm notification
  • ✓Battery-powered low-power design
KURASTECH Pulse Output Board

Pulse Output Board

Output board that converts the volume measured by mechanical and electronic meters into a pulse signal. The signal from a reed or magnetic sensor is passed to PLCs, data loggers and automation systems through opto-isolated outputs.

  • ✓Opto-isolated pulse outputs
  • ✓Adjustable pulse value (L/pulse)
  • ✓Reed / magnetic sensor input
  • ✓Easy wiring with screw terminals
KURASTECH Wired M-Bus Board

Wired M-Bus Board

Wired M-Bus (Meter-Bus) communication board compliant with EN 13757. Meters connect to a central reading system over a two-wire M-Bus line, which carries both power and data.

  • ✓EN 13757 compliant M-Bus communication
  • ✓Two-wire, polarity-independent connection
  • ✓Primary and secondary addressing
  • ✓Overvoltage (TVS) protection
